Kenya Deny Somalia Government Officials Access

Kenyan authorities deny Somali ministers and MPs visas upon arrival at the JKIA Airport Nairobi. The move comes when the maritime antagonism between Somalia and Kenya grows deep. 

Officials denied access

Somalia Deputy Minister of Water and Energy Osman Libah, Senators Ilyas Ali Hassan and Zamzam Dahir confirmed they were denied access into Kenya. The three were on Monday night stranded at the JKIA airport Nairobi awaiting to return back to Mogadishu on Tuesday morning.

Stop Militarizing Education Ministry, CS Magoha told

Stop attracting too many wars with Teachers and stakeholders.  Manyatta MP John Muchiri has told Education CS Magoha to stop operating the ministry like a military camp. Curriculum Development  The MP asked CS Magoha to allow all stakeholders to give their input since the curriculum change will be for all us and not for individual purpose. This comes as the stalemate between CS Magoha and the teacher's union KNUT continues to widen. Muchiri said "Most of the school we have in Kenya are Church sponsored and it would be wise for the Education Ministry to involve even the sponsors in the curriculum change".
