Embu Governor Wambora Towns Upgrade Project a Landmark to #TheWamboraLegacy

Trade and Investment For the past few years, Embu county has opened doors to trade and investment opportunities with improved roads playing a major role. Embu County is a major food basket for the Eastern Kenya region and the entire country. Among the crops Embu county has been producing are coffee, tea, Macadamia, Maize, Beans and Bananas from its upper region and Millet, Sorghum, Green grams, Pigeon peas and the most recent Miraa(Muguka) coming from the lower part of Embu. The crops feed the entire parts of the lower Eastern and nearby counties with Muguka taking market control in the Coastal region. Embu Health status on the rise

The First Health Facility in Mutuobare, Kiambere Mutuobare Health Centre  Embu Health Status Kiambere Ward residents have smiles on their face courtesy of devolution. Embu Governor Martin Wambora has given a special attention towards Health facilities improvement in the county since he became the first Devolution Chief for Embu County. Mutuobare health centre is among many others across the county that are waiting for official opening as soon as the equipping and staffing is done. Alongside the health centre, County Government of Embu has constructed staff houses that will ensure citizens get services from the facility for 24 hours per day. The facility is key since they have been walking all the way to Kiritiri level 4 hospital which is over 20KMs away.

Runyenjes-Mbiruri-Mukuuri road Governor Martin Wambora shines in Roads Networks. Embu governor Wambora has been on the lead to roads construction in the county. The construction of Runyenjes-Mbiruri-Mukuuri and Mbiruri-Nduuri roads network has been appreciated by the locals who have applauded the Governor's work saying that the Cross roads upgrade to Bitumen standard will spur economic development in the area. Tourism The both roads are a key element in the development of tourism industry in Embu County as the residents and other tourism touring the region will have an easy access to Kirimiri forest which is a host of one other the great falls found in Embu County. The tourists will also get an opportunity to visit caves believed to hold a key Mau Mau history as the freedom fighters used them as hideout during the colonial era in Kenya .
