Trade and Investment For the past few years, Embu county has opened doors to trade and investment opportunities with improved roads playing a major role. Embu County is a major food basket for the Eastern Kenya region and the entire country. Among the crops Embu county has been producing are coffee, tea, Macadamia, Maize, Beans and Bananas from its upper region and Millet, Sorghum, Green grams, Pigeon peas and the most recent Miraa(Muguka) coming from the lower part of Embu. The crops feed the entire parts of the lower Eastern and nearby counties with Muguka taking market control in the Coastal region. The First Health Facility in Mutuobare, Kiambere Mutuobare Health Centre  Embu Health Status Kiambere Ward residents have smiles on their face courtesy of devolution. Embu Governor Martin Wambora has given a special attention towards Health facilities improvement in the county since he became the first Devolution Chief for Embu County. Mutuobare health centre is among many others across the county that are waiting for official opening as soon as the equipping and staffing is done. Alongside the health centre, County Government of Embu has constructed staff houses that will ensure citizens get services from the facility for 24 hours per day. The facility is key since they have been walking all the way to Kiritiri level 4 hospital which is over 20KMs away.

Runyenjes-Mbiruri-Mukuuri road Governor Martin Wambora shines in Roads Networks. Embu governor Wambora has been on the lead to roads construction in the county. The construction of Runyenjes-Mbiruri-Mukuuri and Mbiruri-Nduuri roads network has been appreciated by the locals who have applauded the Governor's work saying that the Cross roads upgrade to Bitumen standard will spur economic development in the area. Tourism The both roads are a key element in the development of tourism industry in Embu County as the residents and other tourism touring the region will have an easy access to Kirimiri forest which is a host of one other the great falls found in Embu County. The tourists will also get an opportunity to visit caves believed to hold a key Mau Mau history as the freedom fighters used them as hideout during the colonial era in Kenya .

Embu County First State Of The Art Talent Academy Embu County Government through the leadership of Governor Martin Wambora has constructed a modern Talent academy aimed at incubating youth with various talent so they can be polished to take advantage of the competitive world for a better living. Speak to our news source Governor Wambora said the project was generated from the first Embu County Talent search that happened back in 2014. The land where the complex is located was open till 2017 and now has been covered with a smart perimeter wall and a modern common gated which is highly protected with 24hrs surveillance. Music Studio Inside the talent academy complex, the county government has put in place a music recording studio with proper noise proves and recording instruments. Embu Governor Wambora makes cabinet changes to boost legacy.  Governor Martin Wambora has made key changes in his government, a move that is anticipated to strengthen his development agenda. In the list that got into our sources, major county departments such us Heath, Education, Trade and Youth were affected by the reshuffle.  Wambora Development Agenda From our sources, the information from the Governor is that he is more focused on leaving the legacy despite him facing challenges in his first term. Despite the many attempts to get him out of office, Governor Wambora has a great development record. The  Governor was impeached by the County Assembly a record four times in 2014 where he challenged the decision each time in court and came out victorious. He also won an election petition at the supreme court this year. Governor Wambora Shines in Slum Upgrade Project.  Dallas Estate in Embu Tarmacked.  World Bank has again invested it's grants to upgrade Dallas Estate by tarmacking all the cross roads and interlink lanes. The project which is now completed has made the area free from mud when the weather is wet hence enabling the residents to access services in a area located near Embu town Central Business Division. The project has been one of the key projects lobbied and implemented by the leadership of Embu Governor Martin Wambora. Embu Town CBD Governor Wambora takes Embu Higher Cabro paving blocks Project Embu Town is now being facelifted since independent after World Bank's cabro paving blocks funded project kick-started within the CBD. The project is geared towards improving the town standards and revenue collection. Formally the residents have been parking their cars on muddy slots hence paying revenue to the authority. Residents Views Our news correspondent interviewed the locals who will be users to the project and they thanked Governor Wambora for his outreach to bring such development, they vowed to support him in achieving his legacy. Mombasa floods Get enough food in your house. Heavy downpour has been experienced in the coastal region of Kenya causing floods in lowland areas. Several people have since remained indoors because they have been unable to access the markets. The business people are also afraid that business will go down if the rains prolonged, they also accused the county government of Mombasa for unpreparedness. Several streets are also unaccessible with poor draining having to blame as the major cause of water clogging. Flash Floods alerts Heavy Rain Advisory via Kenya Metrological department has listed several counties along the Kenyan coast that will be hit by heavy rain and flash floods. The counties to be affected include; Kwale, Kilifi, Mombasa, Southern part of Tana-River and Lamu.  Residents in all the mentioned areas are advised to be on the look out for flash floods.

Kenya Deny Somalia Government Officials Access Kenyan authorities deny Somali ministers and MPs visas upon arrival at the JKIA Airport Nairobi. The move comes when the maritime antagonism between Somalia and Kenya grows deep.  Officials denied access Somalia Deputy Minister of Water and Energy Osman Libah, Senators Ilyas Ali Hassan and Zamzam Dahir confirmed they were denied access into Kenya.
