World Bank Aid Slum Upgrade in Embu

Governor Wambora Shines in Slum Upgrade Project. 

Dallas Estate in Embu Tarmacked. 

World Bank has again invested it's grants to upgrade Dallas Estate by tarmacking all the cross roads and interlink lanes. The project which is now completed has made the area free from mud when the weather is wet hence enabling the residents to access services in a area located near Embu town Central Business Division.

The project has been one of the key projects lobbied and implemented by the leadership of Embu Governor Martin Wambora.

Living Standards 

The residents told our news correspondent that they feel honored by World Bank and Governor Wambora leadership for the upgrade which has in return has improved their living Standards since they can do business anytime the want. They added that the upgrade is almost turning the area into a 24 hours economy. The business community that owns rentals within the estate added that the population has since increased as demand for houses goes up hence increased rent rates.
