President Uhuru Kenyatta extends Huduma Namba registration period

Why Huduma Namba?

Government of Kenya earlier this year introduced a new identification number despite having existing national identity card and passport as official documents. 

Up to now the government has not been able to fully explain why it's a must for it's citizens to register for the number despite the contrary ruling by the court.

Registration deadline

Huduma Namba registration deadline date was set for tomorrow 18th May 2019 but President Uhuru Kenyatta today has directed the National Inter-ministerial Committee to extend Huduma Namba mass registration period for one week; to close on Saturday, 25th May 2019.

Stop attracting too many wars with Teachers and stakeholders.  Manyatta MP John Muchiri has told Education CS Magoha to stop operating the ministry like a military camp.
