Government has dispatched the Secretary of Internal Security, GSU Commandant, and RDU Commandant to the North Rift to reinforce the ongoing security operation against cattle rustlers responsible for the recent killings, maiming, destruction of property and theft of livestock. This come days after a 3rd year student at University of Embu was killed by bandits while on long holiday.

Stop attracting too many wars with Teachers and stakeholders. Manyatta MP John Muchiri has told Education CS Magoha to stop operating the ministry like a military camp. Curriculum Development The MP asked CS Magoha to allow all stakeholders to give their input since the curriculum change will be for all us and not for individual purpose. This comes as the stalemate between CS Magoha and the teacher's union KNUT continues to widen.
