High Court rejects plea to make homosexuality legal in Kenya

High Court declines to repeal section 162 of Penal Code which criminalises gay sex

Kenya's high court, in a much-awaited verdict, on Friday refused to scrap laws criminalising homosexuality, fearing this would lead to same-sex marriage which it said was unconstitutional. The ruling was highly welcomed by majority Kenyans with church leaders applauding the court.

President Trump threatened to destroy Iran in a tweet sent in the wake of reports that a rocket was fired into Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone less than a mile away from the US Embassy in Iran.
